Nothing much

So, I really do in enjoy this whole blogging thing, but I frequently find myself thinking "I don't have anything to write about." Then I read other people's blogs and have to remind myself that I can literally write about ANYTHING! So, I will do as most moms do on their blogs and write a little about The Wee One.

She is crazy! It amazes me how much a child changes within such a short period of time. Here is a run-down of some new developments this week:

We have been placing a small step-stool by her bed (yes, she already sleeps in her twin bed) so she can climb up herself at bedtime. Once she is in, I remove it and put it in the corner so we don't trip over it in the middle of the night. Earlier this week she was playing in her room and out of nowhere, she walked over to the corner, picked up the stool, and brought it to the side of the bed. It wasn't quite close enough, but with some adjusting, she got it and climbed up to play on the bed.

She has been giving hints about potty training and this week started demonstrating that it is pretty much time to start working on this. She has a princess potty (thank you Grandma) in the bathroom and as she follows us into the room she will lift the lid, turn around, sit down (while saying "sit"), and occasionally even try to wipe herself. Keep in mind that she is fully clothed as she does this. Then yesterday, she gets a jar of peanut butter out of the pantry, brings it into the living room, puts it on the floor and proceeds to sit on it. Then she says "poop." Anyone want to explain that one to me. Ha!

It is fun to watch her grow and change, even when the changes are somewhat "odd." She keeps us laughing for sure! Of course, her corny laugh will do that to you. It almost sounds like she is faking a laugh, but she does it even when she is obviously truly tickled about something. It is the dorkiest laugh I have ever heard, but so precious and funny.

That's about it for this post. My goal: to not stress so much about what I write and to just use this outlet as I originally intended...as an OUTLET! On that note...I'm out.
